I take prescriptive to mean prescribing an action based off of behavioral data

whereas with predictive analytics one is making a decision on a series of KPIs based on interests, context, so predictive analytics doesn't predict one outcome, but multiple ones, while still providing data so know the most likely outcome...

the issue with social networks like LinkedIn, Twtr, FB is that they are silo'd networks & don't want to share data

Salesforce didn't buy RelateIQ for the revenue bc it was less than $5m according to sources. They bought the future value and team.
