I can see people afraid of Twitter using this tool because it organizes the questions, gives a better look for an “official” chat. #Hoonuit

I am just copying and pasting from the presentation to prompt the discussion, and I have resources and opinion/responses ready until q&a
Jaime Donally
@PhilaTechSherpa have your used this in a #PLN setting before? Was it successful? #Hoonuit
Michael Drezek
Absolutely! It has a nice feel. I'm on mobile now and could get used to this. #Hoonuit
Philly Tech Sherpa
We normally use Face-to-Face or Zoom BTW love the stream to Youtube last night! Will definitely use that feature!
Jaime Donally
@m_drez it’s a little to get use to, but it’s more natural to explain than what to do in Twitter. I like that it keeps time, shows the host & gives more characters LOL #Hoonuit

Q2: How do you motivate professionals who already have a crazy schedule?
Philly Tech Sherpa
Make sure you are creating Manageable Team Sizes, and make a time for smaller teams to present to the group. Tie learning and topics to a student-centered focus, and show as many examples of the PLC effort impacting students positively.

Incentivize the training with group building activities and things like our Mooshine Committee. positive peer pressure, irrefutable data, and creating new experiences for people that cause them to act in new ways
Philly Tech Sherpa
Our Moonshine Committee at our school building (Middle School) provides planning and implementation of professional team building at least once a week. Incentives are as small as stickers, and as large as parties.
Philly Tech Sherpa
Educators can be motivated by the same things our kids respond too, and sometimes more!
Philly Tech Sherpa
Q4: How do you keep it together when the interest wains and the honeymoon is over?
Philly Tech Sherpa
BTW: CrowdChat automatically enters hashtags while you type....
Philly Tech Sherpa
A4:ask us questions rather than giving us demands
Philly Tech Sherpa
Ask us what we need. Ask us how. Ask us why. And then set us loose.
Michael Drezek
I didn't realize that. Trying now without manually entering it.

Q3:Who goes first as presenter, and how do you choose what is important?
Philly Tech Sherpa
The language of “I” and “Try” is replaced with “We” and “Will.” The word “Will” is a commitment to action and “We” means no one person is responsible for accomplishing our goals
find ways for all staff members to contribute
