First off, we listen to our customers. That is critical in developing quality solutions. They are quick to tell us how they feel and the challenges they face. So we take that feedback and develop better solutions, like Verse.

Another way to solve these challenges is to offer choice and flexibility. What we provide as a SaaS, we also strive to provide to on premises clients. This allow our clients freedom and the flexibility need.

Beyond deployment options we also strive to infuse analytics and creative design thinking into our email service to reduce distractations, reptititiveness and confusion throughout the day. We all get more emails than we want, right?

@KangHubert I agree - I think on-prem and SaaS are like shopping bricks / mortar and on-line - both are needed - the more mediums the better #IBMConnect

the most imp feature of Verse is " people with whom I collaborate most bar" in d top with multi faceted search, by far the best in the offerings from across the vendors 👍🏾

Folks are seeing too many messages, confusing them and having too many interruptions through out their day. I am most of us can relate.

A1: Many orgs have hierarchy or many cross groups - what ends up happening is that people are not able to collaborate too closely with each other. As communication flows via a long chain - where misinterpretation can take place #IBMConnect

Most of us can relate to distractions that do not add value. This is one the biggest challenges with all the new technologies for collaboration availble to business people today.

I see federated identity as stumbling block across agile new cloud platforms

very true, for most of that he org, collaboration means files talking to files but actually it's people talking to people, sharing knowledge & expertise within the organization

of course user adoption requires great UX and value added functionality

I'm testing FB for Work and it's ok but requires huge commit from our org

I can relate. It's great to have access to more information but the challenge is sifting through it all (from a variety of sources) to uncover the things that are most important to me to make progress in my workday. @IBMConnect

The "Important to Me" bar allows us to see quickly who we are working closely with as well as helping us focus and prioritze without reviewing every email. It came about through combining Connections Profiles service with Verse email.

We also utilize IBM's own analytic code to deliver a unique and custom "Important to Me

@atharafzal I have used Apple's native mail app to configure Verse (cloud version though) but app works great with Android and iOS both much better than native ones

Important to Me helps me know what to work on first! Helps me prioritize. Helps me get to that valuable sense of accomplishment at the end of the day/night @IBMConnect

We support mail protocols and try to hide them from users in our mobile email interface. Verse mobile is easy to setup and doesn't take any technical know how for the end users. Give us a direct message with your email if you need help.
