I learn from my participants when they come to my sessions and share their experience. I have seen many of the companies today asking me for "Good" DevOps resources and what I get is by "Good" they mean not only tools skills but process skills and other soft skills

Given the current situation, now is a great time to focus on continuous learning.

My top learning resources right now are DevOps institute SKIL Up section. I value the learning minutes, the blogs of Global DevOps ambassadors, and the materials that are uploaded. I also recommend the media.com platform, Udemy, and of course, Google

@DEVOPSINS#crowdchat is the new avenue as well !!

I look at the COVID-19 situation as a blessing in disguise. Learn, Equip yourself with aspects that was parked on your learning backlog, CSI

In today's COVID-19 scenario, there is an explosion of interest in "learning from home." Sites like Udemy, Coursera, Udacity and Lynda all have good courseware but you can also find great learning content given away for free from universities.

Raise of SRE which is great and Ops getting more power

For two years in a row, there is a clear indication across all levels that "human" (soft) skills are equally important to automation and process skills. Culture counts!

I was interested to see how much importance CI/CD tooling had. More than cloud this year! Apparently "getting things shipped" is more important than "where it is being shipped to" at the moment.

1) DevOps transformation journey is still very difficult for more than 50%.
2) Finding and attracting skilled people continues to be a challenge in 2020.

The landscape is fluid, and so too must be our learning. Keep Learning! :)

It's nice to see the focus moving beyond the technology to understanding the process and people improvements needed to use the technology effectively.

2nd how hard to find leaders with coding skill

My main takeaway was to see that the Process Skills and Knowledge to be of more importance.

Hybrid model of humans and the change from "soft" skills to "human" skills! E-shaped professionals can be developed and must be retained. ;)

1. E-Shaped DevOps Human (experience and expertise, explora- tion and execution.)
2. Collaboration and cooperation is still the top must-have human skill.
3. DevOps adoption, Agile and SRE have all gained in their percentage for must-have skills.
