@nancykoppdw Yes, also, many organizations are creating a Chief Data Officer role, Deutsche Bank has this role for example. The risk is that it's another silo. Why it's key to shift culture towards a more data-centric and open sharing model.
The primary challenge here is to ensure that there is a SINGLE comman lingua franka aka common language and vocabulary around the topic and get oflk speaking about #DataScience in the dame way ;-)
I think it's easier to say where #datascience won't have potential impact. There is virtually no industry or part of the business that would not benefit from it
