Moving forward, which open technologies will have the most significant impact on #hybridcloud adoption?
Sriram Subramanian
Not one, combination of many. openstack, cloudfoundry, kubernetes, open container initiaves

Orchestration & Policy... among other things.
Jason R McGee
The technologies that support flexibility and interoperability will surface as leaders and will see the most adoption. #containers is certainly going to be one of them.
Stormy
#CloudFoundry will have significant impact on #hybridcloud, multi-cloud adoption because it has a strong, diverse, cross-industry community creating solutions to solve the world's hardest problems.

Of course as a board member of #CNCF (Cloud Native Compute Foundation) i see them as a great resource for helping businesses make successful choices.
Antonio Carlos Pina
besides IaaS or containers platforms itself, secure and cheap ways of replicate or expand the of storage are very needed. Data is exploding everywhere.
Rob Hirschfeld
still maturing... I think that open software defined networking (SDN) is required for hybrid to advance
Mark Thiele he/him
@zehicle Totally agree. We've made it core in our solution.. SDN with simplicity allowing for container level segmentation even within a vm.
seriously, wtf
@sriramhere and not just the combination of many, but the interop of that many
Rob Hirschfeld
channeling @mthiele10 : business needs, infrastructure choice & competition drive hybrid more than the tech

Cloud brokerage platforms seems like a space where more new open projects materialize --like Project Jellyfish, etc
Duncan Johnston-Watt
the open technologies that will have the most impact are those that are open to adjusting their own footprint and aligning themselves with similar initiatives. Real world example @cloudfoundry @cloudnativefdn dialog IMO
