Obviously moving to the public provider level is the next goal. And Hp is doing it all internal so far -- IBM for instance bought Softlayer to get there. So it is an exciting time for Helion.

I disagree that moving to public #cloud is the goal. It's not that simple.

Will be interesting to see what the market reception is by next June. Helion has a lot of competitors out there. I wonder if the new relationship with Microsoft will extend to cloud.

Depends on the perspective. Helion in a vacuum, yes. As part of a portfolio/ ecosystem, no.

A big part of the Helion message is hybrid. We have heard that constantly this week. But for hybrid HP needs services out there that use Helion. That means Helion needs to be service provider ready. So I think it is a goal right now.

I'll believe that The Machine might become real when he can show actual functioning memristors. Until then it is a paper exercise.

Even if tech is ready, I question if people will truly be ready. I suspect no.
