Call Me! Seriously, you need to consider your applications and middleware. You need to match you app needs to the right environs. You need to consider SLA's and expirience beyond the IaaS.
Depends on what your highest priority is. If it's data jurisdiction and where data is domiciled, then you find the vendor that has proof of compliance.
Consider the provider's experience in the space, other implementations, and look closely at demand to select the best hybrid cloud provider for your firm
Makes me think of Alice in Wonderland "Please tell me which way I ought to go from here.."Depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat. "I don't much care where... " said Alice. "Then it doesn't matter which way you go," said the Cat.
Operational Enhancements: Strict standardization of hardware and infrastructure software components Small numbers of system administrators due to the standard design of cloud components and support processes Failure of any single co

@adamjwray the @sfgiants handle did the something similar so I copied them and threw the Cube in there for kicks @mikeonsing Giants will win. KC will have hard time that is unless pitching steps up like gm 2

Surprisingly enough, people. Staffing to engage the traditional enterprise and work with them on true hybrid solutions. It's why AWS is building a 50K employee center in London.
3 years of implementation experience and maintaining a hybrid cloud environment, it will take dedicated learning and the flexibility to meet customer demand
high level you either own or have your own stack (aka cloud) or you dance around it or ontop of it. Big players have to have their own cloud to innovate with software; just my opinion but think that I'm right on this
Fundamental grasp of the importance of the network that underpins this and making this a standard part of your offering - Google and IBM get this globally as does Interoute in Europe
Like the LInux revolution, the initial perception of value was wrt cost - but I believe increasingly the attention will turn to openness, flexibility and control.
Hybrid is not a new concept, it was well defined by NIST back in 2011. It's just that client have tired of the Public vs. Private debate, and are now looking to combine the best elements of both!
< No one is claiming that it's new. And, I would agree that the vested interests were arguing Private v. Public, when in fact it was pretty obvious we need the hybrid solutions.
great point Ireland is not enough which is why AWS announced the Germany datacenter; multitenant and data protection is back on the table. Not sure it left the table
The issue(s) of data sovereignty are extremely important drivers for hybrid cloud, particularly in industries that operate under serious compliance requirements.
