I think we'll get a big lift with SAP when DSSD comes to market. Its a great match for HANA workloads.

at @emcworld you saw the CEO of SAP with Joe Tucci very telling on that partnership

Really? Last month at Discover HP execs were bragging about having the highest performance with SAP Hana. Does the new XtremIO beat that?

in memory DB's need BIG bandwidth ... server side flash with direct (PCIe) connect will win over any array IMHO

we don't disclose externally, but obviously we know the numbers.

storage is a small world. we know what most all storage competitors are doing.

Can you explain what "$100m in demand" in your press release for XtremIO means? Is there a figure for actual sales you are prepared to quote?

we said that we sold over $100m of product in less than 6 months.

its our fastest growing array ever. We don't believe anyone has sold as much, as quickly. But open to suggestions.

Gartner';s latest report lists IBM as the leader in sales of all flash arrays, with EMC fourth, for last quarter. So you are saying that this quarter you will leap to dthe top of that list?

EMC has been systematically building the flash portfolio since adding SSD to Symm in 2008. XtremIO has good architecture and now a very strong option for users looking at AFAs
