Digital disruption will not occur in an overnight big bang. For me it's a continuously evolving process perhaps reaching a point when you not not just able to disrupt your competitors but also yourself in the process and restart.

#DevOps provides a framework for the culture of collaboration and communication needed

agree, its also about breaking down silo's for example look at what Google is doing with their SRE teams

Key ones: understanding of broader organization/mission, accepting change/disruption, working outside of traditional org charts, experiment and scaling over big bang approaches

#devops on its own is just best practice and maybe transformational for your development, on its own not full digital transformation

Another culture change is divestment in control to the edge - hierarchy is slower than internet and can't keep up.

absolutely not... DevOps, agile, scrums etc are nothing without a change in mindset, let alone digital transformation....

It's the hardest thing to change....often a lot of technology is thrown to solve this problem and without the change in attitude and mindset, it becomes a lost cause or success is only achieved at a very small scale.

It definitely requires a culture shift. But that has to be built on confidence in the data & analysis. And that starts with data quality.

If there's no culture shift in the organization, it's like there's a big grapefruit in the room. Changing culture is key!

Culture shift is a critical component and can be much trickier than the technology shift

Also needs a real focus - transformational efforts that are part of the bigger mission are just executive vanity projects.
