This is a relatively new MSFT conference. Audience seems to be focused more on the C-Level audience.

We are having a technically focused conference in Atlanta later this year called Ignite.

This is actually a fairly hot topic in the circles I travel in ;-)

Oh,... and the acquisition of Xamarin and it being free with VS.

I am looking forward to learning a lot about the new features and enhancements in SQL 2016.

EOS is next week for SQL 2005. A couple of more years and it goes EOS for 2008.

Licensing tends to be an issue since the model is so different. Also some customers have experienced performance issues. Most of these issues can be avoided by performing adequate due diligence up front prior to the migration.

IOT is driving huge amounts of data in the data center. The ntire data path has to be absolutely secure as well as high performance. That is where Cisco policy driven infrastructure shines.

@KirkbDavidson seems like social technology is replacing face to face interaction. That is great for business, (less travel needs, more efficient), but not great for personal social interaction I don't think.
