@arianagradow Thanks, how do I select for my reply to go to either one of my social sites (ie. Linkedin) I see the twitter box but I no longer see the Linkedin one. I diselected it earlier and I no longer see it.

@murmurpr If you login through Linkedin, the post will go to linkedin, if you login through twitter, posts will go to twitter etc

@murmurpr If you reply to someone in CC they will get notifications on their relevant social networks. I will look into email notifications! Would you prefer to only receive emails for direct replies?

@arianagradow actually the idea would be to send a notification to the hosts of the AMA session each time someone replies to the threads the're hosting.

We have found that the chats move pretty quickly so it would be best if the host could dedicate his/her time to the chat. However if he/she logs in through twitter, they will get a notification on twitter if someone replies to their question

@arianagradow, right, but the notification will only get created by Twitter if the participant asking the question select the twitter box and make the question public (most people would diselected it, I would assume to avoid spamming). :)

You are correct regarding the notifications on twitter. -The box must be checked in order to get the notification.

I have actually seen that most users leave the box checked to promote brand awareness because everything is sent to Twitter with the #hashtag appended.

@arianagradow Earlier when I signed up for CC I synched with CC my personal Twitter and Linkedin accounts. As you can see in the thread below I used my LinkedIn account to post a question, but ever since I logged in with Twitter all my replies come fm Twtr

Can anyone clarify what the Always On functionality allows? Does it enable the chat to stay open longer than the traditional 24-hr limit and is the host able to archive/close the chat at any time?

We're still kicking the tires, but so far this chat has been open as an Always On for about 18 hours. I was under the impresssion it would stay on indefinitely until I close it.

always on is not time bound it's like a news feed

good to know, however I only receive an email notification from CC about your "direct message". Everything else did not come through. I even checked my spam forder and nothing.

I'm looking to have about 3 SMEs host my upcoming Q&A session. It will be for an hour. Do I need to ask the SMEs to stay on the CC page and answer questions as they come or can they in any way get notified by email if somone asks a question?
